Tells us what the senses do not, but not the contrary of what they see

Comes alive when the Word read from the page becomes the Word heard in our heart

Increased by reading or hearing examples of faith in the Bible publicly expounded

Developed through hardship, disappointment, disillusionment, conflict, frustration, failure and loss

Becomes effective as it is exercised by us with the aid of the Spirit, which aid is always assured when the heart has met the divine condition
