Bees love them

Different types grow all year round

Even weeds have them

Florist shops are so nice

Some bloom only once, but amazingly

There are so many kinds

They add moisture to the air

They add oxygen to the air

They are always there if we look to see them

They are intricately designed

They are proud assertions of beauty

They are reminders of God’s love and presence

They are reminders of the fleetingness and frailty of life

They are sunshine for the soul

They are used in medicine

They bloom even around weeds

They bloom in their own time

They bloom where they are planted

They blossom

They bolster relationships

They brighten and beautify the home

They bring beauty

They bring colour to life

They bring comfort

They bring hope

They bring joy

They bring joy where there is sadness

They bring people closer together

They burst out in spring

They can be eaten (some of them)

They can be healing

They can be used for craft

They can be used for tea

They can be used in skin products

They can be used to dye fabric

They can brighten our day

They can decorate a table or room

They can grow on trees even though the tree doesn’t have any leaves

They can help other plants grow

They can help us sleep, like lavender

They can turn up on plants out of the blue

They come in so many colours

They come in so many different sizes

They communicate without words

They convey God’s love

They don’t compete

They don’t tell, they show

They follow the sun even on cloudy days

They grow in the wild

They have fragrance and perfume

They help attract helpful garden insects

They help memory

They help us relax

They improve mood

They increase compassion

They increase creativity

They increase humidity

They lean towards the light

They lower blood pressure

They lower heart rate

They make good gifts

They make us feel better

They make us feel more helpful

They make us more attractive

They purify the air

They reduce pain

They reduce stress

They repel bugs

They show love

They show that adversity can be overcome

They show that Spring is here
