Time Calculations

Each day is 24 hours which is 1440 minutes.
If we do something for 15 minutes a day, it is only 1 % of our day.
If we do something for an hour a day, it works out to be 365 hours a year or around ten weeks or two and a half months of full time work.
Each week is 168 hours.
If we divide this by three it is 56 hours.
If the three main things we do in life are work, sleep and everything else, we have about 56 hours to do each of these.
If we sleep for 8 hours 7 times a week, this is 56 hours.
If we work for 7-8 hours a day for 5 days a week, this is 35-40 hours.
If we add on a total commute time of e.g. 10 hours a week, this would be up to 50 hours, but might be a lot less.
If we have at least 56 hours for everything else, this is 8 hours or more a day for us to schedule and make good use of.
